The Government of the UAE is Divided into Multiple Sections:

There are the Three Major Councils

Council of Ministers

     This council, made up of twenty people chosen by the emirates, help create laws for ratification by the NCR and advise the NCR on various matters, like the cabinet in the US Executive Branch of Government
    
    

National Council of Rulers
(Also called the Federal Supreme Council)

    This council, made up of the rulers from each emirate, acts as the lead governing body in the country. It elects the president and the prime minister (also called the vice-president there) from its own members for five year terms, votes on laws, and chooses half of the Federal National Council

Federal National Council

    This council, made up of fourty people, are the advisors to the other two councils. Half of them are elected by the NCR and the other half by indirect elections by the emirates.

     As each one of them is part of the National Council of Rulers and the sole leader of their respective emirate, they have control over several aspects of the nation, including (insert duties here). Also, the ruler of Abu Dhabi is the president of the country and the ruler of Dubai is the prime minister of the country. As a result, they have even more duties to perform, including:
